Pets Bureau was set up in response to the demands of pet owners throughout the UK. Fot those pet owners who lose their dog or cat, the trauma and isolation can be too much. This service is dedicated to helping other pet owners facing similar situations.

Over the years there have been numerous meetings with police, dog wardens and Battersea Dogs Home to discuss what could be done to reduce the number of lost and stolen pets in Britain. Pets Bureau is here to help people find lost and stolen pets.

Helping as many pet owners as possible

To help find missing pets more quickly, a pet membership scheme has been set up for both cats and dogs to help them being found before they are reported as lost or stolen. Thousands of pets are now registered and are wearing special ID tags linked into a special 24 hour emergency number. Through a very sophisticated automated service, both the finder and the owner are put in touch typically within minutes or even seconds, minimising any heartache involved, as the pet is speedily reunited.
