By having a pet, dog or cat as a member of your family you know that their safety is of paramount importance. This is why Pets Bureau was set up, to provide pets with a 24/7/365 fast life-line to you should they become lost anywhere in the UK. For those pet owners who lose their dog or cat, the trauma and isolation can be devastating and we are dedicated to helping all pet owners in similar situations.

To help find missing pets quickly we have set up a free pet membership scheme and recommend you take the time to register your pets now. For Pets that have been registered with us and subsequently go missing our very sophisticated automated service has achieved a respectable 80% return success level (pets wearing our unique ID tag) and in many cases your pets have been returned to you before they are even reported as lost, minimising any heartache involved, as your pet is speedily reunited. Thousands of pets are now registered with us and are wearing one of our unique ID tags with their special 24 hour emergency FREEPHONE number.

Kyle is an extremely friendly dog though his size can be a little intimidating for some. I always feel it is surprising that we do not see Deerhounds when we holiday in Scotland, after all they are actually named Scottish Deerhounds! Sadly he will be eight this year (2011) but we hope to have the pleasure of his company for many years to come. Kyle is my best mate, always so happy to greet anyone, spends much of his time lying down as hounds do and is no trouble. What more could you ask for?

Pets Bureau also offer to any owner of a missing pet the facility to register their pet on our FREE Missing Pet Register, complete with photo and Microchip number, which can be accessed by anyone 24/7/365, members of the public, Vets, Dog Wardens, Police, etc. We also work closely with a network of Pet Welfare organisations/contacts nationwide to help return lost pets to their owners as quickly as possible.

What makes Pets Bureau different?

Pets Bureau recognised that in today’s world people have various means of communication, traditional methods by telephone landlines no longer dominate as the main form of contact. We have therefore developed a system whereby you, the pet owner, can select how you can be contacted urgently. Any finder of your pet will be given access to this information by simply dialling our emergency FREEPHONE number on the tag and it TRULY operates 24/7/365. No special equipment is needed as with a Microchip, which requires your pet to be taken to somewhere with a Microchip Reader, all the finder needs is a phone and your pet could be on it's way home. Our system also allows you to register up to five pets under the same account.
